  7. This is a Graphical User Interface - GUI (MUI) that you can use to simplify
  8. your work when you're encoding Mpeg Audio (MP3) with some of the most
  9. popular CLI-based Mpega Audio encoders on the Amiga!
  10.  
  11. You can easily create a filelist and then execute it to encode alot
  12. of file over the night or so!
  13.  
  14. The ID3-tagging is superb when you are using a list!
  15. You can set individual ID3-tags for every file, or the same tag with
  16. only Title differing for a whole bunch of files!
  17. There are also some "intelligent" string extracting feature to use
  18. when setting ID3-tags :-)

  20. The GUI can be totally, or partly hidden (only showing progress)
  21. when encoding!

  224. What systems these encoders actually work with am I not quite sure of,
  225. so don't be alarmed if it says (above) that an encoder doesn't work
  226. on a particular system (PowerUP, WarpOS..), cause it might, or might
  227. not..!
  228. There might also be other ports of some encoders that this program
  229. is not fully compatible with!

  231. If anyone would come up with some other encoder I don't know about
  232. and you want a GUI for it, just tell me where to get it and it
  233. might end up in TheMPegEncGUI v2.1 :-)

  238.  TheMPegEncGUI is Key-mail Ware which means that you have
  239.  to send me an e-mail with your name to get a key-file so
  240.  you can get rid of all annoying requesters and text! :-)
  241.  It's absolutely free, I just want to know how many cool
  242.  users I've got :-)

  244.  Please use the Easy register that pops up when you start the
  245.  program. You can also reach it from the Project menu in the
  246.  program.

  248.  Your name will ofcource not be used for anything else
  249.  than to create your personal keyfile which will be sent
  250.  back to you ASAP.

  252.  - And don't forget your NAME! Otherwise I can't generate a keyfile!

  255. NOTE: If you have problem to get TheMPegEncGUI started, it's probably
  256.       because it can't fit on your screen :-(
  257.       It's virually impossible to get all Lame and Mpega settings to
  258.       fit in 640*200 or similar.
  259.       But if you can set smaller checkmark images in you default MUI
  260.       it might help.
